Automatic desktop notifications for Grunt errors and warnings using Growl for OS X or Windows, Mountain Lion and Mavericks Notification Center, and Notify-Send.

You may install this plugin with this command:

sudo npm install grunt-notify --save-dev (drop the sudo if you're using Windows).

Once the plugin has been installed, it may be enabled inside your Gruntfile with this line of JavaScript:

grunt.loadNpmTasks('grunt-notify');

That's all you need for automatic notifications, you don't even have to add any implementation! If you do have any options just add the options and make sure you have this particular line of code added at the bottom of your Gruntfile.js: grunt.task.run('notify_hooks');
