A brief description of less: Less is a CSS pre-processor, meaning that it extends the CSS language, adding features that allow variables, mixins, functions and many other techniques that allow you to make CSS that is more maintainable, themable and extendable. Read more: http://lesscss.org

Once you're familiar with that process, you may install this plugin with this command:

sudo npm install grunt-contrib-less --save-dev (drop the sudo if you're on Windows)

Once the plugin has been installed, it may be enabled inside your Gruntfile with this line of JavaScript:

grunt.loadNpmTasks('grunt-contrib-less');

To run the task just type in the Grunt CLI the following: 'grunt less'.
