To install the watch task run the following command in your terminal:

sudo npm install grunt-contrib-watch --save-dev (drop the sudo if you're on Windows)

Once the plugin has been installed, it may be enabled inside your Gruntfile with this line of JavaScript:

grunt.loadNpmTasks('grunt-contrib-watch');

Once you've done that you can see run the task using 'grunt watch', of course make sure you have configured your Gruntfile.js accordingly.
