The perfect shuffle, also known as the "faro shuffle" is when the deck is split into equal halves of 26 cards that are then interwoven perfectly. In this video I'm going to be showing you how to do the perfect shuffle in Java. Same concepts apply to any language really so try doing it in a different language!
The video is fairly long so feel free to skip it at any point. I've read online that this particular question (the perfect shuffle) has come up in interviews before for Java based roles so hopefully this will help people understand the perfect shuffle.
This is a new series and I'll be uploading more interview questions as soon as possible! Enjoy the video and expect many more interview style questions to be answered!
