Getting a visitors' IP address can be really useful to store in our database for tracking, or just testing purposes. I tend to store a user's IP address in the database just to track where exactly they're coming from and to store their session data. In this video I'll be showing you how to use $_SERVER["REMOTE_ADDR"] to get the user's IP address from the TCP stack. It's not always that accurate as somebody could be using a proxy server.
